Softronic manages and develops the general claims register, GSR.

Since 2023, Softronic has been entrusted with managing and further developing the Skadeanmälningsregistret in collaboration with the customer. By working with continuous maintenance, we ensure that the application is reliable, works as expected and is available. The assignment also includes supporting the customer in adding new and improved functionality.

Gemensamma skadeanmälningsregistret (GSR) AB is a subsidiary of the trade organization of insurance companies and occupational pension companies, Insurance Sweden. The GSR system can, for example, prevent the payment of compensation for the same claim by several insurance companies. The system also contributes to better and faster customer service by enabling insurance companies to automate claims handling.

Since 2023, Softronic has been entrusted with managing and further developing the Swedish Claims Register in collaboration with the customer. By working with continuous maintenance, we ensure that the application is reliable, works as expected and is available. The assignment also includes supporting the customer in adding new and improved functionality.

After the management takeover in 2023, Softronic has launched an updated version of the system on behalf of the customer. With an increase in the number of data types and expanded reporting support, greater opportunities are provided to detect incorrect payments in time.

Reduced social costs


With good cooperation between the customer, representatives from the insurance companies and Softronic, we are together countering a serious social problem. Incorrect payments of insurance compensation cause major costs for insurance companies and, by extension, policyholders.


Cooperation ahead

In addition to the Swedish Claims Register, the companies Swedish Insurance Administration and Swedish Insurance Service have commissioned Softronic to operate and manage other industry-critical applications. Together with the customer, we will therefore be establishing a new joint working method and delivery team in 2025 with the aim of ensuring each application’s unique maintenance and development needs over time.
