The service is advantageously delivered together with Softronic’s Threat intelligence service, which provides a more comprehensive vulnerability management.
Softronics Vulnerability Scanning is a service used to identify potential vulnerabilities in an organization’s infrastructure. The process involves running specialized tools to examine systems, protocols, and/or web servers on the network in order to detect security weaknesses.
When vulnerabilities are identified, our analysts can take action to fix them and prevent them from being exploited by threat actors. Vulnerability scans should be conducted regularly to keep the network secure.
The service is delivered in three different stages with a number of options
Vulnerability Scanning – Base
This is the simplest form of vulnerability scanning where the product is a report, listing the vulnerabilities in order of severity.
Vulnerability Scanning with Analysis
Same as base but with the difference that you get help from a security analyst to prioritize based on the report and suggestions for mitigating measures.
Vulnerability scanning with Threat intelligence
Same as with analysis but combined with business intelligence on selected software and threat actors that we monitor. If there are changes in the approach of threat actors or security holes in these software, we inform your organization.
Reporting
Depending on the type of agreement, either in the form of a report or during a security forum. An analyst can help you prioritize and mitigate your vulnerabilities.
Delivery
Delivered continuously and on a regular basis to actively manage vulnerabilities. The service offers automated patching across all operating system environments, as well as support with lifecycle management (LCM) to help close security gaps. With threat intelligence monitoring, you can also monitor and protect your applications.
